A resident in the 11700 block of Parkhaven Court called Sunset Hills Police on Feb. 6 when they discovered several items, including jewelry and other collectibles, missing from the home.
Officers responded to the home around 12:33 p.m., according to the report,?and?discovered forced entry to the home. Approximately $44,000 in valuables was taken.
Missing items totaling approximately $6,300 have been recovered, police said. A suspect has not yet been taken into custody.
